We have grown and transformed, but we still have the same values we did on opening day in 1982.

That first day, founder R.J. Harris put the fundamentals into practice.
He’d been in the fastener business for a while—long enough to have ideas about how to better take care of customers. Those ideas attracted customers and those customers stuck with us. We still serve some of our earliest customers today.
Still going strong.
Now with eleven stocking locations—and more to come—we serve clients from coast to coast. We have access to over 200,000 SKUs of commercial and military fasteners and a wide range of complementary products.

It’s not just customers who stay with us—employees do, too.
The people who join our team stick around so long they’re more like family. (80% of our management team has been with us for more than 10 years.) They’re not just hard workers, they’re good people.


As a company and as individuals, we help those in need.
Our offices support charities like Special Olympics, Triad Honor Flight and others. Our headquarters invites customers and vendors to an annual golf tournament that has raised thousands over the years for charities like the Forsyth Humane Society of North Carolina. All these efforts are a natural outgrowth of hiring people who want to do good.
